PatternMaster is an untimed rule-finding game. Your child studies a sequence, grid, relationship, group, or conditional pattern and works out what belongs in the missing place. The answer format follows the reasoning task. A child may choose, type, tap, order, or build an answer. Across 85 levels, one visible repeat grows into interleaved number streams, multi-rule grids, four-attribute transformations, and woven logic patterns.

All 10 types, each with an early and later structure
Every comparison uses an app-created problem at the stated level. The later example changes the rule structure, number of simultaneous attributes, or kind of reasoning; larger values alone do not count as progression.

The app chooses the pattern type, rule structure, visible elements, missing place, and answer format.

Mark the selected and correct answers
After a miss, the correction stays on the same generated problem instead of replacing it with a generic example.

Demonstrate the rule
The explanation names the separate color and shape cycles, locates the missing position, and derives the correct tile.
- The colors repeat every 3: purple, orange, teal. The shapes repeat every 3: triangle, circle, triangle. Because each cycle keeps repeating, counting your position in each group tells you the answer.
- Position 6 in groups of 3: 6 = 2 groups of 3 exactly, so it's the last spot (spot 3), which is teal triangle. Answer: teal triangle.
What genuinely changes across the full level path
The comparisons add new rules, operations, representations, interactions, and reasoning steps. Larger numbers or longer item lists alone are not treated as proof that a challenge is harder.

The Level 1 example alternates one color attribute while the shape stays fixed.
Track a four-operation cycle
The Level 85 arithmetic example combines addition, negative multiplication, division, and a growing addition across repeated cycles.

The iPhone screenshots in this guide show reviewed examples checked against the app's current problem and answer rules. Use the controls to compare exact app states; the screenshots stay fixed so families can inspect them. At launch, the app will create new practice at the child's own level. Viewing this guide does not change app progress or earn anything toward a Screen Time unlock.

Fresh PatternMaster problems follow the child's level and the types available there. Parents can change the number of problems in a session and choose whether eligible completed app sessions contribute toward the Screen Time unlock rules they set.
